The Mahoney Recreation Center is located at the west side of Manchester, adjacent to Washington School. The
center is a registration site for recreational programs and membership.

Rec Hours: Monday-Friday, 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (beginning 10/11/08)

COMMUNITY Y RECREATION CENTER, 78 North Main Street, 647-3164
The Community Y Recreation Center is located at the north end of Manchester. The center is a registration site for recreational programs and membership and houses a full fitness center.

Rec Hours: Beginning Oct. 2009
Monday-Friday, 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

Fitness Center Hours:
The Community Y Fitness Center is located at the north end of Manchester. The fitness center offers free weights, multi-station gym and cardio equipment.

Dates of Operation: June-August
Summer Hours: M-F, 8:30-8 p.m. (11:30-5 p.m. buddy system) and Sat., 9-12 noon

DROP-IN GYM AT NATHAN HALE SCHOOL, 160 Spruce St., 647-3084
Supervised drop in gym time for basketball will be offered at Nathan Hale Elementary School in the gymnasium for
Manchester youth up to age 10 years. Children must be accompanied by and adult 18 or older.

Dates of Operation: Beginning October 2009
Drop-in Hours Youth: Monday-Friday, 6-8 p.m.
Closed when school is not in session.

NORTHWEST PARK, 448 Tolland Turnpike, 647-5212   
Northwest Park is located at the north end of Manchester. The Northwest Park Recreation Office and Activity Center is located at Northwest Park, building #1. This building houses recreation personnel and has an activity center for exercise and wellness classes.

The park hosts a class A little league field and a class A baseball field. In addition, there are hiking trails, a picnic pavilion with a full kitchen, fishing pier, sand volleyball courts, and a boundless playground.
